Great Improvement hue been shown this year in the returns from the Mount Kasl Mines on the-inland of'Vanaa LeTU, Fiji. Daring November 3058 tone of ore were crushed, realising 170 ounces of fine gold worth about £7000. For the 43 weeks since the beginning of the year .10,41(4) tone of ore were treated, and 7910 fine ounces of gold obtained, having a total value of £71,857 (Australian). Tills nhows a favourable comparison with last yenr, when for the full 52 weeks 38,420 tona of ore w«re treated, giving 8320 line ounces of gold, valued at £72,876 (Australian).
