INJURED NURSE

CONDITION IMPROVES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, thie day. The condition of Mis* Ellen Campbell, of Matamata, the nurse injured in the fatal collision at Te Aroha on Monday, had improved to-day. Miss Campbell was a pillion rider on a motor cycle ridden by Mr. Colin William Brick, aged 21, a dairy factory hand of Te Aroha, which came into collision with another motor cycle ridden by Mr. Frederick Albert Stokes, storeman, of Craddock Street, Avondale, between Te Aroha and Matamata, on' Christmas Day. Both Mr. Brick and Mr. Stokes were killed. Mies Campbell was critically injured, and Mr. Harold Clarke, a railway employee, of Matamata, who was a pillion rider on Mr. Stokes' cycle, was also hurt, though not seriouely. Inquests were held yesterday into the deathe of the two men, and were adjourned after evidence of identification.
