AT THE HOSPITAL.

VICE-REGAL VISIT. With presents for patients and wards gaily decorated. Christmas was celebrated in traditional manner at the Auckland Hospital and attendant institutions. Yesterday morning a visit was paid to the Auckland Hospital by the GovernorGeneral, Viscount Galwav, and Lady Galway. They were accompanied round the wards by the chairman, Mr. Allan •J. Moody, the medical superintendent, Dr. J. W. Craveu, a number of the board members, and the ladj r superintendent, Miss E. M. Nutsey. A visit was also paid to the hospital by the Primate, Archbishop A. W. Averill, who gave an address in one of the wards. Mr. Moody and hoard members visited other of the board's institutions durinthe day.
