Mr. D. A. Eweii left for Wellington by this afternoon's express. The Hon. T. Bloodworth, M.L.C., will leave for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Mr. W. Bishop, chief accountant to New Zealand Railways, arrived from Wellington by the early express this morning. Mr. I. J. Goldstine, Mayor of One Tree Hill, left for Wellington by this after noon's express to attend a meeting of the National Patriotic Council. Mr. H. S. Robinson, general secretary and treasurer to the Diocese of Melanesia, will arrive from Sydney by the Mariposa 011 Monday. Mr. L. Walker, one of the architects for the Dominion court at the Octennial Exhibition, will leave by the Limited express this evening for Wellington. Tlie Rev. Dr. Alexander Hodge, wlio has been 011 a brief visit to Australia, has returned to Auckland. He made tlie trip to meet Mrs. Hodge in Sydney on her return from London. Mr: 'W. H. James;, of Whangarei, left by car this morning for Wellington, where lie will attend a meeting of the National Patriotic Council as a representative of the Auckland Provincial Patriotic Council. Archbishop A. W. Averill, Primate of New Zealand, left for Wellington by this afternoon's express to attend the opening of the Centennial Exhibition, and to take part in the services being celebrated in conjunction with the Centennial. He wHI arrive back in Auckland 011 Saturday morning. Mr. W. S. Goosman, M.P. for Waikato, who is looking after the interests of the Hauraki electorate in tlie absence of Major J. M. Allen, M.P., is visiting Wellington 011 business connected with the electorates, and to attend a National party caucus, and the opening of the Centennial Exhibition.
