MRS. D. I. P. FEN WICK. (From Our Own Correspondent.) PAPAROA, Monday. The death has occurred of Mrs. D. j P. Fenwick, of Paparoa. Born a Thames, Mrs. Fenwick was educated a Auckland and served as a teacher i Auckland and at Paparoa, where eh married in 1900. She is survived by fou sons and three daughters. MR. J. S. HARRISON. Mr. Harrison befor the Great War was manager of Wright Stephenson and Company, Limited' Wanganui branch. He enlisted for aetiv service overseas and 011 his return ii 1918, when he was invalided back t< Xew Zealand, he again took up th management of the firm in Wanganui Some years later he retired from aetiv. business and took a farm at Kaorikia He still continued on the advisory boan of Wright, Stephenson and Company Limited. Mr. Harrison was an exper on seeds and developed that side of hi: business for his firm. MR. ERNEST H. WYLES. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The death has occurred of Mr. Ernes Henry Wyles, aged 84, who was well known in business circles in Christ church. Born at Grantham, Lincoln shire, in 1859, Mr. Wyles arrived i New Zealand in 1901 and settled i Christchurch. He took the position o secretary to W. Strange and Company Mr. _Wyles became managing director c the company, holding that position unt the business was sold in 1929. Joinin the Canterbury Qhajnsber of Com mere in 1918, he was president in 1922-23, an in 1923-24, and was a member of tl council for many years. He was pres dent of the Canterbury Employer Association in 1921, a former preside! of the Christchurch Rotary Club, tl Drapers, Retailers, Mercers, and Bo< Retailers' Association, and tihe Ne Zealand Drapers' Federation. Mr. Wyh was a life member of the Lancasti Park Board of Control, and was seer, tary of the Canterbury branch of tl British Empire Cancer Campaign the Highway Beautifying Associatio He was also a justice of the peace. F is survived by his wife, two sons ai two daughters.
