The French High Command is still iiKirvt discreet concerning the exact whereabouts of tin? positions taken.
The newspaper "Le. Temps" points out that there has been no bombing vital to French communications and ascribes it to the sacrifices of Poland which has attracted the greater part of the Nazi air force.
'"The Times'' Copenhagen correspondent says the "I'olitikcnV correspondent in Berlin report* that preparations arc being made for a great fight on the West Front. Already vast territories in West Germany have been evacuated and it is expected 18.000,000 to 20,000,000 will eventually be moved to Central Gcrmanv.
All ordinary duties of the Nazi party organisations have been suspended' in order to build up the inner frout.
It is officially confirmed in Berlin that towns near the Siegfried Line have been evacuated, but this is describe! as a temporary measure.
