Pepper is grown in many tropical countries, but Singapore is the chief shipping port.
When the King paid his Coronation visit to tho Dnohv of Cornwall, he received anions tlio feudal dues the traditional pound of pcfyper. But it wasn't so easy to come by when this custom was instituted, as it is now.
