TRANSPORT ORGANISATION.
TALKS IN 21 CENTRES,

Further to the statement by the Minister of Transport, the Hon. R. Semple, regarding the organisation and coordination of all forms of public motor transport, n arrangements have been made for meetings to bo held in each of 21 centres in the districts in which district co-ordination committees arc to im set up.
Tliphc meetings have been arranged by the combined national transport eirganisntions. the firet being in Hastings, Wellington. Nelson and Dunedin on Thursday next, to be followed on succeeding evening* at all other centres nominated in the four transport licensing districts. All organisation members have been Invited directly nnrt the meetings will till be advertised leically, being open to all commercial transport operators to whom the subject of the Government'*! requirements is of vital importance. The industry appreciates the opportunity to cooperate with the Government, in the furtherance of its previou? ofTcr#i of assistance.
