IMPERIAL CONFERENCE. POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCED. LONDON, September 14. At a special meeting of the Enclish Rugby Footl>all I 'nion the conference arranged with Dominions' representatives for December 15 'Iws been postponed. AH fixtures a I read v arranged for the 1930-40 British season, except" schoolboys' matches, have been cancelled until further notice. It is hoped, however, that cbnb games not interfering with national duties or Government regulations will 'be played. A general moratorium has been declared with regard to outstanding loans to clul)s. and eifcbecriptions of afliliated clubs 'have been (suspended. The New Zealand delegates to the Tmpeiial conference were to be M"s-siv. G. A. Madison (Hastings) and A. E. McPhail (Clhristchureh).
