RECRUIT'S CAR BURNED.
(From Our Correspondent.) WOODVILLE, Friday. A car driven by Mr. P. W. Maurice, of Woodville, was destroyed by fire on the Woodville-Dannevirke highway near Maharaliara to-day. Mr. Maurice was the only occupant and he escaped without injury. He was returning from Dannevirkc, where he had been medically examined for the special force now being raised.
