FIXTURES IN ENGLAND.
(Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 14. It Is now announced that all racing fixture* for the year have been cancelled. AJAX LAME. A BRUISED HEEL. SYDXEY, September 14. A report is to hand from Melbourne to the ettect that Ajax is showing signs of lameness as a lesult of a bruised heel, and Ilia training has been interrupted in the meantime. NEW ZEALAND FILLY SUCCESSFUL. Advice has been received that the New Zealand-bred Vagnrie, by Siegfried, from Confiscation, was successful in a two-year-old race at Morphettville, South Australia, last week. Bred by Mr. R. T. Reid. of Hamilton. Vagarie was purchased at the yearling sales at Trentham last January by Mr. C'. Wheeler on behalf of a South Australian client for 240 guinea*.
