LITTLE TWICE VICTORIOUS. PENNINGTON, JENKINS AND ROIXINSON. SURVIVE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) IX VERCARGTLL, Wednesday. The finals were readied in most sections of the Xew Zealand amateur boxing championships this afternoon and evening, and the tournament ends to-morrow evening. There were many lively bouts this evening, but the most dramatic was in the middle-weight. W. Enright (Southland) and R. Branch were expected to provide the best bout of the day, but it was over in five seconds with one blow, Enright using a terrific right hook. In a lightweight bout between McGirr and Morris in the afternoon thy judges gave a wrong decision in error, and in the evening they reversed the decision, giving it to Morris. Both are now out of the tourney, however, with injuries. Results: — Flyweight. —B. Maddern (Taranaki) beat YV. Drew (Otago) on points; C. Worth (Auckland) beat <>. Hastings (Manawatu) on a technical knock-out; A. Cameron (Rakaia) beat C. Larson (Wellington) on a knock-out. Semi-finals: B. Maddern 'beat A. Cameron on points; T. Hoggarth (Greymouth) beat C. Worth on points. Bantam-weight.—T. .Tenkins (Auckland) beat T. Hoggarth (Greyinouth) on a foul; H. Foote (Wellington) beat L. Salmon (Southland) on points. Feather-weight.—M. Parr (Otngo) beat R. Davis (Waipukurau) on points; A. Byrne (Hutt Valley) beat L. Parsons (Manawatu) on points; L. Pennington (Auckland) beat W. Brown (Southland) on points; G. Thomas (Taranaki) beat T. Baty (Gisborne) on points.
Lightweight.—D. McGirr (Christchurch) beat S. Morris (Wairarapa) on points; H. Calder (Southland) beat (1. Bridge (Wellington) on points; T. Dunn l Hutt Valley) beat H. Mclvor (Auckland) on points; J. P. Musson (Ashburton) beat G. Toon on .points.
Welter-weight.—W. Little (Auckland) beat B. Fairbrother (Hutt Valley) on points. Semi-finals: D. Heeney (Gisborne) beat L. Huzziff (Taranaki) on points; W. Little (Auckland) beat D. Coughlan (Manawatu) on a knock-out.
