WEATHER FORECAST
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE, Tha Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auokland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate to strong northerly winds. Some passing showers are likely, with fair intervals. Slightly cooler temperatures. Seas rough on the west coast and moderate on the east coast. An anti-cyclone is located to the north, while a weak westerly depression is crossing the South Island. Pressure has risen to the west. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-west, fresh; sea, slight; weather, cloudy and misty; visibility, fair; barometer, rising.
