PATRIOTIC ENDEAVOUR.
CO-ORDINATION PLANS. (From Our Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Mayor of Wellington. Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, announced to-day that plans are being drawn for presentation as .the basis of discussion to a public meeting within a few days' time at which a central organisation to co-ordinate the work and patriotic endeavour of the citizens of Wellington will be set up. " I'here is the widest scope for citizens to assist." said Mr. Hislop, ''but that assistance will be given the best result if the plan is complete, and if everyone and every organisation is working to a common end. A meeting of women will be called liy the Mayoress as soon as the preliminary plans are advanced and within a week the whole scheme should be under way,' J added the Mayor.
