SPORTS TO BE PLAYED.
GOVERNMENT'S ATTITUDE,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Tuesday. Tn response to inquiries from affiliated unions as to whether games which .have been scheduled' for this season should be carried on in view of the international situation, Mr. S. S. Dean, chairman of the executive of the New Zealand Kugby Union, was in contact with the actingPrime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, to-dav.
Mr. Fraser assured Mr. Dean that it was the desire of the Government that all sports programmes should be carried out in the meantime. All matches scheduled to take place this season will be played.
