SUCCESSFUL DANCE.
PAPATOETOE CENTENNIAL.
A successful dance was held last night in the Papatoetoe Town Hall, in aid of the local Centennial Memorial, when over 150 were present. This function finalised the present series owing to the international situation. The ladies' committee comprised Mesdames G. Jeavons, N. Macaulay, Eastwood, B. Hounslow. Lusbv, N. Goddard, and W. Rountreo. The hall waa beautifully decorated in nikau palms, streamers and balloons. The duties of master of ceremonies were carried out by Mr. B. Hounslow. Among those present were: Mesdames C. Lambert, C. Xewscombe, W. Halliday. J. Miller, J. Rose, jun., H. Hardlev, H. Ratliff, -J. Tunnell, W. Roberts. E. H. Smith, H. Belcher, N. Roberts. J. Halloway, G. MoCaulev, Fisher, Misses K. Bell, E. Way, T. Partridge, J. Manson, G. Nbmish, B. Bluck, L. Hardier, Rowlings, L. Richardson, M. Studman, D. Miller, E. Miller, R. Hounslow, I. Leaning.
