THIS MORNING'S WORK. 1 lie middle grass track, which was used at Takuuim tnis morning for fast work, pro\ ided fairly good going early, but later, as the result of torrential rain, the tracks had to be closed. Proud Fox (McMiiiu) shaded Gladynev (Smith) at the end of five furlongs in 1.7 2-5, Sunola tCoker) taking 1.8 for a similar task. Anion (Clarke) was about four lengths in front of Arvakur (O'Brien) at the end of half a mile in 55 2-os. Inver (Coleman) strode over live furlongs in l.l(» r Glen Council (Feryiisson) taking 1.8 3-5 for a similar distance. Yalamito (Inglis) had a length the best of Hound I'p (Clarke) over half a mile, which occupied 55.". Going freely, Orclio (Smith) traversed live furlongs in 1.7 3-5. Te Poto (Coleman) was not fully extended to complete half a mile in 54 3-ss. Over a similar distance Vaalso (Coker) shaded Tahiti (McMinn) in 56 2-ss. Bachelor King (Bartle) impressed" more than Vaalsstar (Kingi) at the end of five furlongs in i.'j 3-5. For a similar task Brazilian (Matthews) and Milanion (Beguley) occupied 1.8. Full Hand (Smith) got to the end of half a mile in 54 3-ss. and Princess Val (Coleman) ran the last three of four furlongs in 35) 4-ss. The stablemates Marie's Acre (Bartle) and Phileourt (Kingi) were worked over ,1 mile ana a quarter, covering their last four furlongs in 59 3-ss. Xamara (H. Gray) was allotted a similar task, his last mile taking 1.53 3-5. The Dozer (Logan) joined in over the last seven fnriongs. the pair being timed to run the final .five in 1.12. There was nothing between Mazir (T. Green) and Tellsom (Curwen) at the end of five furlongs in 1.!) 1-5. Gay Movie (Matthews) ran the last three furlongs of a niile in 435, and Tutor (Cleaver) was in-front of Mia Acrea (Fergusson) at the conclusion of half a mile in 58s. Over the latter distance Hunting Bee fßartle) and Plueron (Burgess) recorded 57 3-ss.
