The only official communique .so far issued states: The Fuehrer received Sir Nevilo Henderson at the Chancellery in the presence of Hcrr von Ribbentrop. The Ambassador conveyed to the Fuehrer a communication from the British Government. The Exchange Agency Berlin correspondent says that after returning to the Embassy Sir Nevilc Henderson immediately made contact with Loudon l>y telephone. Herr Hitler simultaneously conferred with his advisers. Sir Neville Henderson arrived at the Chancellory riding in a large limousine Hying the British flag. The huge doors of the courtyard swung open and admitted him, and were promptly cloaed. A guard of honour accorded him a ruffle of drums as ho stepped from hi* car and was shown in to Herr Hitler. Herr von Ribbentrop participated in ] the Interview and Dr. Paul Schmidt acted as interpreter. Marshal (ioering and Herr Hess, the deputy-Fuehrer, attended the Chancellery, where the remainder of the Cablnot eventually assembled.
