NURSES TO MEET.
DOMINION CONFERENCE. VISITORS FROM OVERSEAS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WE LL ING TON, Fr ida v. One of the largest gatherings of tlieprofession yet held in New Zealand is expected for the annual conference of the New Zealand Registered Nurses' Association, to be held in Wellington from February 13 to 17, at the time of the Centennial celebrations. A number of prominent overseas nurses have announced their intention of being present, and arrangements are being made for some of these outstanding figures in the nursing world in other countries to take part in the discussions. Two combined educational and scenic tours have been arranged, one in the North Island, before the conference, and the other in the South Island during the subsequent week. A whole day before the official opening will be devoted to a reunion of all post-graduate nurses. It is hoped that student nurses will be represented by an even greater number than that which attended the 1939 conference in Dunedin.
All nurses wishing to attend the conference are requested to communicate at an early date with their branch secretary of the _New Zealand Registered Nurses' Association, from whom *11 information regarding accommodation at Wellington, tours and details of the conference programme will be available.
