ELLERSLIE CLUB.
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. Tliere was a large attendance of members at the St. Helier's bowling pavilion to do honour to those players who had won the trophies for last season's play. The Auckland Bowling Centre was ' also well represented, the president, Mr. E. W. Inder, being supported b.v several other officials, including Mr. W. J. Truseott, past president and now a member of the New Zealand Bowling Council.
Mr. Leo Munro, president of the club, called on Mr. \V. J. Truseott to present the trophies : —Club champion. J. Watson ; runner-up, .T. Tyndall; junior. H. J. Percy; runner-up. W. S. Glenny ; percentage fours, H. Koefoed (s.), A. Reid, A. Whaley. A. Walters: patron's trophy. S. Gooding'(s.), W. Boyce, C. Samways, H. Tonkin ; Newcomb Cup, Kohimarama district defeated St. Helier's.
Skips to enter teams for a full rink tournament to be held at the Ellerslie Bowling Club's greens next Tuesday, commencing at 9 a.m.:—Gilmore (Carlton), Livingstone. Kenny, Tonkin (Onehunga), Ix>ng (Balmoral), Gothard (Takapuna), Adams, Hay, Johnson, Fraction, Gollan, (Bilerslie). Buchan (Rawhiti), Connew (Mount Al'bert). Bain, Rangiriri). McCowan (Epsom). Ingram (Pukekolie), Mclsaacl (Ellerslie).
