MEETS KING KONG AGAIN.

HARD FIGHT FOR LOFTY IN MONDAY'S WRESTLE.

No more difficult opponent has been faced this season by Lofty Blomfield, New Zealand professional wrestling champion, than Ted "King Kong" Cox, and in their last'battle in Auckland three weeks ago the Aucklander was unlucky to lose by a disqualification when he appeared to have the verdict well in hand. They have been rematched and will fight out the verdict at the Town Hall on Monday next—a contest that should provide one of the most exciting bouts this season. Noted throughout the wrestling world as a "bad man of the ring," Cox lias lived up to his reputation in New Zealand and each of his matches lias shown hiin as a wrestler tireless in aggression and with a cheerful disregard of the niceties. At the same time Cox is a«scientific grappler of distinction and he has had many notable victories. No wf<?stler can face him without danger for Cox spares nothing to gaifi the decision. In his last meeting with Blomfield Cox used everything in hii power to "rile'' the New Zealander and oh that be was successful. This time Loftjr Will be more careful, and with Ilia weight, stfeiigth, aggressive ability and wrestling skill he call be depended upon to give a Hood account of himself. Tlie British Empire champion McOready (17.1) beat Pollster (16.10) by a fall in the sixth round of a wrestling match to-night. The fall was obtained by a 'body .press after several chimps.
