AVONDALE PROGRAMME.
The programme for the Avondale Jockey Club'* spring meeting, which w to be held ut Avondale on September 14 and 18, has been issued, and the sum of £4700 will be given in stakes duiing the two days, u »li«)it increase on the corresponding fixture last year. On the first day the Kingsland Hurdle* will form the opening event instead of the Maiden Plate, seven furlong*. The latter has been moved to' the seeontF day; taking the place of bhe Mount Albert Handicap, an open seven-furlong event, which haa been deleted from rhe programme. The Trial Plate, haying exactly the name conditions as the Maiden Plate, will replace the latter on the first dajr.
