TENNIS BALL.
PAPATOETOE FUNCTION.
The Papatoetoe Lawn Tennis Club held their annual tennis ball in the Papatoetoe Town Hall when over 250 guests were present. The hall was decorated with palms and greenery, while the supper tables had bowls oT Iceland poppies and spring flowers. Mr. P. M. Waters, the club's president, presented the trophies won during the past season and he congratulated the winners. The ladies' committee comprised Mrs. P. Edmonds and Misses K. Waters, D. Bryant and M. Wilson. The duties of master of ceremonies was carried out by Mr. Gordon Sinclair.
