PERSONAL.
Mr. F. M. Clarke arrived from WeHmgton yesterday. Mr. W. P. Endean, M.P., will leave far the South by the Limited tthis evening. Mr. A. VV. Christmas will be a passenger for Wellington by this evening's Limited express. Sir Apirana Ngata, M.P., accompanied by Laxly Xgata, left last evening for Wellington by the Limited express. The Hon. W. H. Mclntyre, M.L.C., whs reappoiuted chairman of the Nelson Education Hoard at a recent meeting. The Hon. Mr. Justice Northcroft has arrived in Wellington and is assisting with the civil session of the Supreme Court. Mr. G. C. Burnnand will leave for , Wellington by the Limited express this evening. He will return to Auckland before the week-end. The Hons. F. E. Lark, T. Bloodworh, A. Burns and J. Trevethick, M.L.C.'s, will leave for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Colonel R. Miles and Colonel O. H. Mead, of army headquarters, Wellington, will return to the South by thu Limited express this evening. Mr. A. H. Honeyfleld, manager of the Auckland branch of the Internal Marketing Department, arrived from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. The -Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrington, Bishop of WaikatoJ left Hamilton Inst evening for Wellington, where he will attend a meeting of tile standing committee of General Synod. Mr. G. H. Mackley, General Manager of Railways, Mr. G*. T. Wilson, transportation superintendent, and Mr. G. H. Davis, land officer, discussed railway reconstruction schemes at Hamilton yesterday and arrived in Auckland later in the day. They are to return to tho South this evening.
