OBITUARY.
MR. LOUIS HOLDEN
Well-known as a breeder of pedigree Polled Angus cattle, Mr. Louis llolden, has died at his home in Epsom. He wa, burn in Bombay, India, K~> years ago and caine to Xew Zealand as a young man. lie farmed successfully in the Feilding district and' later moved to Te Aroiia. After is. HuhU'ii'g death in 1914, Mr. Holdcn, although too old to enlist, went to England, where he worked in Woolwich Arsenal, and finally went to France with the Xew Zealand Y.M.C.A. Under the leadership of Mr. J. L. Hay, now of C'hristcliurch, he rendered excellent service in Y.M.C.A. lints used by Xew Zealand soldiers.
