EVIDEXCE AT IXQUEST,

"It is not my duty to find the cau.=e of the accident, only the cause of death, and I find that the deceased John Kvle Caldwell and Flora Mclvenzie Brown died on Juno 11 from injuries received in a collision between a van they were riding on and a motor car driven bv Frank Xain-arrow,' said the coroner. The deceased Flora Mclvenzie Brown was a single woman aged 46, a bookkeeper by occupation, and resided at 14, Rhodes Avenue, Mount Albert. She was a passenger in the van driven by the deceased, John Kyle Caldwell, a married man, aged *60 traveller, who resided at 202, Ko'himarama Road.

Senior Sergeant Flanagan appeared for the police, Mr. C. M. Rattrav for the relatives of the deceased, Caldwell, Mr. D. Wood for F. H. Hildreth, a pas senger in Caldwell's van, Mr. Hall Skelton for Harold Ellis, whose car it was alleged was hit by Caldwell's van shortly before the accident, and Mr. R. P. Towle for Messrs. Furness and Co.j owners of the van.
