CHEZ PAREE.
Many dancers again attended the Chez Parec Cabaret on Saturday night. Engagement and birthday parties were the order of the evening. Under the leadership of Teddy Tyne, the band played excellent music and individual items, and received many encores.
When linen is badly scorched cut a large onion in slices and press out the juice. To this liquid add loz of soap, loz Fuller's earth powder, and one pint of vinegar. Bring this to the boil, spread thickly on the linen, and leave till dry. Then wash well in soap suds. If necessary, repeat the treatment, and put the linen to dry in the sunshine, if possible.
