HARBOUR LIGHTS GUILD.

DANCE TO RAISE FUNDS,

Members of the junior branch of the Harbour Lights Guild held a successful tlanee in the Missions to Seamen building on Saturday night. The proceeds were in aid of the girls' stall at the forthcoming nautical fair.

Mrs. Preston Chambers and Mrs. H. K. Vickery were the matrons of honour. The visitors were welcomed by Miss Isabel Rennie, the honorary secretary, who wore a frock of spring green broderie Anglaise.

During the evening the chaplain, the Rev. H. K. Vickery extended on behalf of the guild members, the best wishes to Miss Ruby Gough, who is leaving the branch to be married in a few days'

The main hall was decorated with clusters of Phoenix palms, pot plants and balloons, with arum lilies 011 the band dais. Large bowls of flowers stood in the anterooms and 011 the landings. The supper room was decorated with irises and Iceland poppies. The extras were played bv Mr. Win. Mitchell.
