CLUB'S £40 LOSS.
WINDOWS SMASHED. FURNITURE HURLED ABOUT. MAN LATER ARRESTED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, this day. DamageNo the extent of fully £40 was done to the Cambridge fJolf Club's pavilion last niglrt. The t-luli recently enlarged the clubhouse, which had many windows. With two exceptions, thefce were smashed by a iiftin who threw f.iiniture and anything else he. could find, through them. The man al.-o smashed seats, tee boxes and even attempted to smash down the club's large wooden sign. A stranger to Cambridge, found walking in his bare feet, was arrested late hi-t night and placed in the police lockup. He wa» medically examined this morning.
