NEW POLICE STATION.
OBJEGTION TO SITE. CONFERENCE AT ROTORUA. (By Telegrnph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this day. A conference was held yesterday between representatives of "the Rotonia Borough Council and a number of Government officials in connection with the council's objection to the proposed site »f the new Kotorna police station Officials attending the conference were the fommisviojier r»f Police. Mr D J Cumminjrs, Inspector Lopdell. officer in chiirjie of the Hamilton policy district. Mr. H. A. Patterson, assistant Government architect, and Mr. .T. W. Mawson Director of Town Planning. The Mayor, .Mr. T. Jackson, who represented the council, stated last eveninpr that he had no statement to make at the present juncture as to the results of the conference.
