FERTILISER STRIKE.
MOVE BY FEDERATION. TO CONFER WITH EMPLOYERS. A decision to moot representatives <-,f the employer* on .Monday in connection with the Auckland chemical manure workers' strike was made as a result «f a conference held to-day between the disputes eominitti . of 'the Auckland Federation of Labour and delegates of the fertiliser workers' union. The preside .to. the Auckland Trades. Council of the Federation of Labour presided at to-daye conference, which upened at noon and sat for about an hour and half. In the discussion the issuee involved in the dispute were thoroughly examined, and a course of action which, ". it was hoped, would enable the dispute to' be settled, was tigreed upon. Mr. Young said no statement would be made until after the meeting with : lie employers.
