INTER-ISLAND MATCH.
FIXTURE NEXT SATURDAY,
Form shown in the inter-Island Rugby League match, and Probables and Possibles match, which will be staged at Carlaw Park next Saturday, will play an important part in the selection of the New Zealand team, which is to leave shortly on a tour of Great Britain and Fvam-c. The North Island selectors. .Messrs. T. ' A. .McCl.Miiont (Auckland), H. VV. Brisbane (Auckland], and G. Hooker (Tarauaki). have also selected the N'oith Island Pmbables and Possibles teams to play a curtain-raiser. Although the final selection of the NewZealand team will not be made until after another trial match next Tuesday, it is possible that the New Zealand selectors, -Messrs. T. A. McClymont (Auckland), J. Amos (Canterbury) and J. A. Redwood (Auckland), one of the managers of the team, will name a number of the certaintics cm Saturday evening.
