FERTILISER WORKERS.
ROUTINE OPERATIONS OXLY.
Settlement has mot been reached in connection with the strike of 400 chemical workers at Otahuhu. Westfield and Te Papapa. There were no further developments to-day. and the men do ' not intend to hold further meetings' until Monday to discuss the situation! In the meantime, routine work only is being carried out. Drivers' Grievances. Discussions were proceeding in Wellington to-day in an endeavour to «et a settlement of the Auckland drivers' grievances which were the subject of discussion of the meeting in the Town Hall on Wednesday. Two officials of the Auckland Drivers' Union, the secretary, Mr. L. G. Matthews, and the organiser. Mr. F. Mullef, attended a meeting this morning of the national dispute* committee in Wellington. On return to Auckland they wUI report to their union.
