OLD GIRLS' REUNION.
OFFICERS ELECTED
There was a large gathering at Mrs. Prttchard's clubrooms on Saturday afternoonwhen the Mount Eden College Old Girl*)' Association held their annual reunion. The decorations on the afternoon tea table* were carried out in the old school colours of gold and white. In the absence in England of the president. Miss Gladys Erson, the actingpresident, Mrs. Henderson, the secretary, Mrs. Colin Gordon, and the committee' received the members and guests, who included Miss Clotiston, headmistress of St. Cuthbert's College, Mrs. Campbell, president, and Miss Ruth Owen, secretary of St. Cuthbert's Old Girls' Association.
Regret wag expressed that Miss Bewa was unable to be present, but during the afternoonjihe wa« spoken to by telephone and affectionate greetings were given her from her ex-pupils and staff. At the commencement of a short business meeting mention was made of the passing of Mrs. Gladys Wright, a former secretary of the organisation.
The following officers and committee were elected:—President. Miss Gladys Erson; vice-presidents. Mrs. D. Henderson and Miss Isabel Devore; honorary secretary and treasurer. Mrs. Colin Gordon; committee, Mrs. T. W. Levien, Mies Vera Ziman, Miss P. Xewcomb and Miss K. Owen.
