FOR WEMBLEY.
THE 1944 OLYMPIC GAMES. WINTER CONTESTS IX ITALY. LOXDOX, June 11. Tile Olympic Committee has awarded the 1044 summer Olympic Games to Wembley Stadium and the winter Olympic events to Italy. The 1040 winter Games will be held at Garni i.-cli-l'aitenkii clicn instead of Slooritz, where the Sw-iss officials refused to conduct the Games as the committee directed.
