MR. JAMES EDWARD FROST. The death has occurred of Mr. .Tames Edward Froe-t at the age of S3. He was a pioneer of lnvercargill and was sulisecpiently well-known in the Kuahino and Bay of Plenty di-tricts. Born in Northamptonshire, he came to New Zealand with his parents when he was only 1.") and was employed on the construction of the old wooden railway between lnvercargill and Bluff. He is survived by a wic'inv, three sons and one daughter. MR. GEORGE WILSON. ' A member of a pioneer North Auckland family, Mr. George Y\ il.-on bas died at Kirikopuni at the ac; ■ of Si years. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson, were among the lirst settlers in Northern Wairoa, where he was born. Mr. W'iison farmed at Kirikopuni for many years, living partly there and partly at Auckland. He comes from a family remarkable for it- longevity, two of his brothers being over ninety an<l three over eighty. He is survived by four sons and two .laughters. MR.
