AUSTRALIAN TRADE.
SYDNEY, May 25. The official returns of Australia's oversea trade for the ten months ended April 30. as compared with a similar period in the last financial year, reveal a substantial contraction in the value of both exports and imports. Government finances this year have been adversely affected by continued low prices for exports, droughts and bush fires.
