MANUREWA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

j The ordinary- meeting of tl.e Manurewa Borough Council was held last evening. Mr. W. X. Cox presiding in the absence of the Mayor, Mr. W. J. Ferguson. Works Report.—The borough foreman reporting on work in the borough, stated that 33 men were engaged on works. Treeplanting and levelling were still in progress. The filling of the western side of Russell Road was not yet completed. Rubbish collection was in progress and there has been a good response by ratepayers.
