A sharp fall in lemons was the only I considerable change in fruit prices tihis week. Although they have dropped by 1/ to 1/6 a dozen the price is 'between 2/ and 2/6, and supplies are very short. Hothouse grapes have advanced, and Te Kairwhata supplies are now finished. Among the vegetables peas and beans and lettuce and cabbages are all slightly dearer. Egg prices are unchanged.
