CARLTON CROQUET.
PRIZES PRESENTED.
Late autumn sunshine and beautiful lawns were the setting for the closing of the 1938-39 season. Progressive croquet whs played by the members and honorary members, after which a dainty afternoon tea was served in the pavilion. Later Mm. Perry, the president, addressed the members, and in presenting the trophies for the past season, wnrnily congratulated the eucj ceesful com[>etitorß.

A championship singles, Mrs. F. Baker; runner-up. Mrs. B. Schubert. intermediate championship singles. Mrs. Sawyers; runner-up. Mrs. Shields. handicap singles, Mrs. Sawvers-runner-up. Mrs. Allsop. • * A and B handicap doubles. Mesdames Laurie and Grove; runners-up, Mrs Kenny and Miss Waddingham. B championship sinsles. Mrs. Fisher-runner-up. Mis* Waddingham. B handicap singles. Mrs. Graham; ruonar-up, Mias Waddingham.
