At a meeting of the full etaff of the Housing Construction Department to-day a resolution was carried to the effect ' that the meeting dissociate itself from the particular statement in the "Auckland Star" of May 10 relating to an inferred, etatement, try a member of the 'staff, reading a« follows:—"It wee learned, however, that the action taken was a gesture of loyalty to Mr. Hedley.
