AT CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION. CONTRIBUTIONS TOTAL £8000. (By Tdegraph.—Pren Amocuumu) CHRISTCHURCH, thia day. Contributions exceeding £8000 have already been agreed to by local bodies end other organisations interested In the Canterbury section of the Centennial exhibition; The total allocation for Canterbury is £10,000. "Plans lor the court are now going forward more quickly," eafd Mr. J. Roy Smith, secretary of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of the Canterbury Court committee. "The contributions made are regarded as a most excellent response. There has, also been an excellent response to the appeal for photographs for use in the court to display the activities and interests of the province."
