PENWOMEN'S CLUB.

DRAMA-MUSIC CIRCLE. A bright and varied programme was presented by the drama-music circle of the Pen women's Club on Tuesday evening. A sketch, "Turkish Nights," written and produced by Miss Joyed Fleming, a club member, was much enjoyed. This up-to-date sketch depictpd in an interesting manner the "tortures' , endured and the '"back-biting" indulged in by devotees attending a modern beauty-culture parlour. It was excellently produced and was ably interpreted by a large cast, including Mrs. Uray. Mrs. C. (J. CulverwoU. Mrs De Lauroay. Mrs. Gladys Wiseman, Mrs. t. Booth. Mrs. Penty, Miss Audrey Penty. Miss Patsy Penty. Miss Teas Cartl" Lloyd. Miss Mnrjorie Ycatmnn and tlte producer. Misses Madge and Ethol Home gave two amusing short sketches. Au outstanding feaure was two musical duologues by Mr. Desmond Lotke and Miss Pat Boyle, the accompaniment being played by Mrs. Boyle. Modern piano solos were brilliantly executed bv Mrs. W. S. Clarke, and Mrs. Jack and Mrs. Gladys Wiseman gave pieasinir vocal solos. The convener of the music circle. Mrs. W. McKinney. presided, and a vote of thanks was accorded the performers.
