LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW.
(By Lesley Taylor, Waitahanui.) I wae looking out my window, I saw the raindrops fall, I heard the little elf-men Sing out their little call. In their preen costumes They did look so gay, I was bo astonished, It took my speech away. When they came up quite near me, I said: "How very queer!" And suddenly and surely They began to dieappear.
