COUNCIL APPOINTMENT.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDTN, this day. The appointment of the present assistant superintendent of reserves, Mr. M. R. Skipworth, to the position of superintendent on April I, 1940, when the superintendent, Mr. D. Tannoek, will retire, was approved at a meeting of the City Council to-night.
