NEW RAILCAR SERVICE.
MEW PLYMOUTH-WELLINGTON (Br Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. The railcar service between Taranaki and Wellington was inaugurated this afternoon, when the Attorney-General, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, on behalf of the Minister of Railways, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, attended the official ceremony at the New Plymouth station before the dispatch of the railcar Aotea on the first of its tri-weekly journeye.
The general manager of railways, Mr. G. H. Mackley, was also present.
