BRITISH "ATROCITY."
German Allegation Proved Groundless. PALESTINE TERRORISM. British Official Wireless. (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, April 14. Allegations have appeared in the German Press that an Arab boy was abducted and murdered in Lydda by British soldiers.
Inquiries show that the only incident in which an Arab boy has been concerned took place on Wednesday during a military search, when an Arab boy drew a pistol and tried to fire at troops. The pistol misfired and the boy ran away, but he was wounded and captured. Subsequently he told the soldiers, who caught him, that he fired on instructions from a certain Fakhri Maraka, a notorious terrorist, who has accordingly been arrested.
