PREFERS EASY GOING

Owing to the hard state of the ground Full of Scotch has been doing his work on the tan track of late, where he has been responsible for some satisfactory trials. He also worked nicely on the No. 3 grase track yesterday morning. This jumper has had a fair amount of racing and J. Gray has him in great order for the Brighton Hurdles contest next Saturday. In the past Full of Scotch has run his best races when the sting has been out of the ground; therefore, it would assist him materially if there is some more rain before the meeting.
