Golden Wedding.

MR. AND MRS. R. McLUCKIE.

OLD HUNTLY RESIDENTS.

The golden wedding will be celebrated to-morrow of Mr. and Mrs. R. McLuckie, of Bright Street, Eden Terrace.

Mr. and Mrs. McLuckie were married in Glasgow on April 6, 18S9, and they lived in Rutherglen until 1921, when Mr. McLuckie and his eldest daughter came to New Zealand. About a year later three more of their children'left Scotland for New Zealand, and in li)2G Mrs. McLuckie and four more of their children came to this country, leaving one married son in Scotland. On Mrs! McLuckie'e arrival in New Zealand the family settled in Huntly, where they resided until six months ago. At the end of last year Mr. and Mrs. McLuckie moved to Auckland and took up their residence in Bright Street, Eden Terrace.

On Saturday afternoon a party will be held in honour of their golden wedding, and the function will take the form of a family gathering at which all the children, with the exception of the one son in Scotland, will be present.
