PRONOUNCEMENT DEFERRED. (From Out Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The import control regulations were referred to to-day at a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Importers' Federation. The meeting was not open to the Press, but the following statement was afterward released:— "A meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Importere' Federation was held in Wellington to-day, and the import control regulations were fully considered. In view of a possible early statement by the Minister of Customs, the Hon. W. Nash, as to the future of the current year's licenses, it was decided to defer any pronouncement until after this was' forthcoming and to hold a full meeting comprising deleI gatee from branches in other centre* *» i *oon thereafter as possible."
